James Grant Burns

Just been to a funeral (actually a cremation at Warrisron Crematorium in Edinburgh) for an old friend, the husband of an even dearer old friend.

Then went on to the botanical gardens to pick up my two boys (thanks for looking after them Rachel!) and then onto the Starbank Inn for a couple of beers and a good pub lunch. Strange day, still walking round in my black tie as I had to rush back for an eye test.

The picture by the way is of my youngest son Toby drinking two bottles of Appletise at the same time during lunch. Most amusing.
