High Country

Hiked the Pacific Crest Trail yesterday, where the trees are huge, and where the tree fall from a last November storm is a trail clearance nightmare. This sinewy group high up, lower trunks bent from snow when they were just infants setting a permanent shape, never ceases to delight.
