Grote Markt

We popped over to Leuven today for lunch and were pretty impressed by what met us.

Lonely Planet describes Leuven as, 'Picturesque, intimate and lively...yet another fabulous Flemish city'. We weren't disappointed, although Olivia kept asking us, "Are you sure we're not in Brugge?". She either thinks that her parents are incredibly stupid or she secretly wanted to go and see the windmills (my first ever blip!).

I tend to shy away from taking photos of buildings as I'm not sure how to really capture them or how to do them justice. However, the Stadhuis (town hall) was very impressive and, because it was hot hot hot today, I wanted to blip the clear blue sky!
