Back in Bristol

Spent today back in Bristol.

Main reason was to visit my mother-in-law, side attraction was the chance to wander round some of my old haunts from student days.

Banksy wasn't around when I was in Bristol (from 1979 to 86) - but it feels like there are parallels between his story and the saga of the Headington Shark. Fought by the local authorities for years, then co-opted as tourist attractions.

This example is at the bottom of Park Street right in the centre of Bristol.
