No Dolly for me and Jo!

I flew up to Scotland really early this morning to spend time with my nephew and heavily pregnant sister. Jo had tickets for Dolly Parton tonight and we had planned to go together. When I arrived at my sister house she had started contractions and so we decided that perhaps Dolly was not a good idea.

Instead I have been happily spending time with my nephew and keeping Jo and Stew company as we counted the times between contractions and length of contractions. She finally went up to the hospital about 4pm this afternoon.

Aidan is pictured here when he and I were playing a monstor game where we were screaming at each other trying to give the other a fright. He loved it and would run away laughing so hard. However downside was trying to get him to relax and calm down to get to sleep. Obviously he is excited and anxious waiting for his baby sister to arrive as we all are. It's 9pm now and as far as I know no sign - What a long long day for my baby sister! Here's hoping tomorrow's blip is my new niece!

I have had such a great time with Aidan today - as nackering as it is we have had a great amount of bonding time which is something I miss a lot of as I live too far away!
