Lanark History Festival: Catching Them Young

Great time out with the living history re-enactors at Lanark. It's a brilliant event held over the weekend, and has expanded from the mediaeval fight re-enactments to cover eras from the Romans through to WWII.

Not all military, had a fascinating chat with a guy doing 16th century plasterwork and interior decoration for one. As you can see, a lot of the participants bring their children, with authentic era play.
