Portrait

I saw a technique for chopping shots up and putting them back together in a new and unusual way. For which I need a base shot. So I took this shot of Hugo whilst he was watching TV (again).

I will do the rest of the editing later, meanwhile this gives me a nice, high contrast mono portrait to work with.

I could still do with some sort of plain black backdrop. Our house seems to have stuff on the walls wherever I look, which I feel detracts from a portrait. Still, good enough to practise on.
