Just Erin

This morning we headed out to the British Club in Bukit Timah. I don't know what I was expecting, venerable colonial architecture, the pretty sight of the privileged class enjoying its privileges (to paraphrase the Philadelphia Story), anyroad.....

.... we were there for a fifth birthday party around the pool. There was the usual bedlam of kids, cake, and balloons (as well as a piñata which got cracked with a cricket bat) . Most people would have returned with a wealth of piccies for posting, we came back with none. I'm sure this says something about what interests me in life; not sure it's good.

To come up with a blip we had a family photo competition after dinner. The winner was Erin's picture of "Jack with cushion" but as I'm in charge and everyone else is away to bed, I've posted my photo of Erin (we had the boys yesterday).

Will try for all three in school uniform tomorrow, it's their first day back after the summer break.
