Homework....

Homework.

The disappointment of a sunday is in the title.

So back at school last week and everything is back into full swing including the homework and as its a new year the first years have arrived! I know I once was a first year and it is hypocritical but I honestly don't remember my year being like them.

They stand in the middle of the corridors holding their time tables a centimetre from their face and the hands start to shake as the second bells gone and their a whole two floors away from their next class, they just don't know it yet. So the sweat starts to form on their brow and the whole bodies now shaking and, as their being pushed out of the way by older more experienced class goers, all hope of looking cool and like you know what your doing is lost and they just run of in the wrong direction!
(But maybe thats just my school??)

And i have noticed as i have progressed up the school that your jotters change.
First & Second year colours- Green for english, Red for math, Yellow
for french and social subjects, Blue for
science and Orange (the most annoying
jotter colour ever forced upon you at half
nine in the morning!) for everything else.

Third years colours- Green for english, Red for math (and add on a
textbook the size of a brief case!), Yellow for
french...and then it gets fancy!
As you have come to the year you pick which subjects you want
to do its almost as if the teachers get grateful and your given the
good jotter as social subjects digress to blue and science to the
never before seen purple!
