POSTCARD FROM PARCEVALL HALL

This morning we visited Parcevall Hall in the Dales. I was going to go on my own, on a mission and gripping a postcard I received from there in 2010, but G said he would come too, even though this was a non-birding expedition. His binoculars did see some use in the extensive gardens and woodland so he seemed content to wander while I clicked away with the camera.

It is a wonderful place, so peaceful, and there were many photographic opportunities, but since seeing this effect previously on Blipfoto, this was my plan and is therefore my blip of the day. It was rather more difficult than I had imagined, and more luck than judgement that I managed to line up the hedge and the pergola.
