Rachels Birthday

Rachels birthday. I was wide awake at 3.30am and ended up reading my book until 5. Rach woke up at 6am (11am body clock) and proceeds to open her birthday presents. Keeping the cards back from her party was a great idea. She is a lucky young girl.

After breakfast, we still had 3hrs to kill before the coach picked us up to take us to the Cruise Ship. I decided to try my first Florida Geocaching experience.

I walked about 4 miles. The first cache was a travel bug hotel at Orlando Int Airport. It was bizzarly hidden in a business office car park in the bow of a boat! Weird!!

The 2nd cache was in a Country Park. I got talking to two people who were playing a round of Frisbie Golf.... a well know sport in the US apparently (I've never heard of it). This cache was hidden in some trees in the middle of the woods! Those who know me, know how brave it was of me to go hunting in the woods where there were snakes and some very scary looking spiders!!

We grabbed the coach (with the hilarious driver) who drove us to Cape Canaveral.

Wow this ship is HUGE! it's like a walking city. The food is plentiful and you can eat, drink, have free ice creams all day. :-)

As I put my swimming costume on, I realised that I had succumbed to the well known "middle aged spread". I then got dressed for dinner and the muffin top was not attractive!! Mental note to do something about it when I get back!!
