Met up with an Indian friend over from Pune working for the B bank. Went to Arctic installation at the Maritime museum. Thought provoking effects - affected the man with family provoking him to proclaim that this was all propoganda, and we may as well be in Russia. IN DENIAL.

Had an ale, and went to look at the Latitude clocks in the observatory, and then looked for the Shoreditch festival - kept getting rained on and never got there, but came back along Brick Lane. If all these restaurants have all these awards then they are all good .... or not.

Pet picked a place nearby which turned out to be the one I've been recommended to go to several times. Had to queue a while and were spat out quite quickly but the food was good, and the entertainment was provided by the people who smashed their bring your own bottle of red and made a mess.

Turns out Abhishek is working on the account of the company I'm working for.
