Scrawny Old Man

But which way do I go?

Came to this junction 12 & a bit miles out on my afternoon bike ride. Home-Dundee-Invergowrie-here.
Decision time. It had been hard going up to here against the wind (it's flat but quite exposed) - on to Errol then home the same way with a tail wind, or Inchture and then into the hills?
So it was Inchture-Abernyte (bit of a killer hill for a couple of miles) - Tullybaccart (but missed a turning, added a couple of miles and had to go up the twisty hill on the Coupar Angus Road) - then Lundie-Dronley-Bridgefoot and home. Quite a hard 35 miles (added to 5 miles to church and back in the morning) - but a very enjoyable ride with new views opening out all the time, barley fields, a redstart, lots of swallows, combines out combining, etc etc.

The title 'But which way do I go?' comes from a song on a great album from the '70s called Raw but tender by Jaki Whitren - definitely buried treasure, that one. Can't find that song on line so here's another one from the same album - Give her the day.
(Raw but tender - bit like the way my bum feels now - haven't had time for long bike rides lately.)
