Goalposts: Gone but never forgotten

Took a walk up to our local fields and was saddened to see that the two goalposts that had stood there since I can remember, had been removed.

I remember scoring many goals in them, wouldn't say I had a tear in my eye, just sad they are no longer there.

It is a lovely place, cover your ears and shut out the noise from the M6 traffic and you would think you were somewhere out in the sticks.
