The Praise of Folly

Observe how wisely mother Nature, the parent and creator of the human race, has seen to it that some spice of folly shall nowhere be lacking.
Not wanting man?s life to be wholly gloomy and grim, has bestowed far more passion than reason.
If mortals would henceforth have no truck with wisdom, there would be no more old age and they could be happy enjoying eternal youth.
The whole of human life is nothing but a sport of folly?
The heart is always right.
