The Golden Boy of Pye Corner

I took a slightly different route to work today, and passed this young lad.

Apparently he commemorates the "staying of the Great Fire [of London]". According to the inscription the boy was made "prodigiously fat" because some considered the fire to have been caused by the sin of gluttony.
