Wasabi Disco

It was a great night out at Wasabi Disco. We got there for about half eleven and Keith put his stuff up behind the decks then we nipped out to grab a quick drink somewhere with seating. All the bars were mobbed though as a combination of the fertival and the rugby. We eventually found seating in Greyfriars Bobbys and had a quick drink there before heading back down.

It was a night of fantastic music both from Keith and Kris who's the resident there. There was a brilliant atmosphere too, even if the place was packed and absolutely roasting, it was a sweat box by the end and I was questioning the logic of wearing a grey t shirt. It was good to catch up with lots of old faces and meet several new ones too.

I even survived the late festival 5am license too. I got dropped of at Roz's mums house at about five-ish by Keith and Iona's taxi back through to glasgow as I'd missed the last bus by a couple of hours. Sally was down in Kelso and had said it was fine to take keys and sleep there. I was out cold almost as soon as my head hit the pillow and I'm feeling a little the worse for wear now if I'm honest.

I got better photos than this from a technical perspective, but I thought this one summed up the atmosphere quite well. Robbie, in the middle of the picture was on teh stage for most of the night and having a great time.
