Beach exploring

The weather was great but sadly the friends we were going to meet up with had a poorly little one :-( But then other friends phoned and said, "We are hitting the beach, want to join us?" :-)

Spent the afternoon on the beach with a picnic. The kids swam in the sea, dug in the sand and explored the pools. They found loads of crabs. In this bucket lived Matt and Titch the crab! They were set free at the end ...the crabs that is!

We then popped in to see our friends with the poorly one who was running around like a good 'un. So it was lovely to catch up with them too and have a natter. More play days next week I hope!
