Ace acers

Thank you for the kind comments on recent journal entries - I am glad the holly hock blip received some nice ones!
Weekend continues in Kington Herefordshire , a dull day weather wise but the sun tried to make an appearance in the late afternoon. Our walk through Park Wood, Hergest Croft Gardens was so peaceful (we didn't see another soul) and then through the fields up onto Hergest Ridge which leads to Offa's Dyke. A number of close up shots taken of the trees and wild flowers but this area of Acers was just beautiful; the leaves were just catching the light and looked quite autumnal but that is their colouring. Other shots from the woodland walk can be seen but this was the image I chose today.
