Digging for donuts

Can't remember the last time I had a donut. Or picked an apple from the tree and ate it. But I did today at the allotment. I also ate a toffee tart which I exclaimed was the greatest thing I ever ate, but on reflection, it's not strictly true. Joke of the day: Kate's comment about the chaplain hanging out.
