Toys R Us

This afternoon, hubby, H and I went on a pre-birthday trip to Toys R Us to check out what's available before H's birthday next month. It was like a free day out! The cuddly toy display was near the entrance, and H made a run for it and adorned herself with the duck and the monkey. She tried to carry various other toys too, but her little arms weren't long enough. We put the monkey back, but the duck was carried all over the shop.

H enjoyed playing on the slides and pushing a little pushchair around (with her duck in the seat obviously) and was more than reluctant to leave it. We purchased a double side easel and some Play Doh for her birthday. And despite me abandoning the duck in a Moses basket, we decided to retrieve it and let H have it for being so good. She is now tucked up in bed with "Donny Duck".
