Not Messing About on the River.

The River Arno.
Although Pisa was once a maritime power, the river seems to be virtually unused. Apart from a couple of people rowing, there seems to be no river traffic at all. Possibly the bridges make navigation by larger boats impractical, but the river traffic has moved to a canal to the South.

We had intended to do our souvenir shopping today, but forgot it was Sunday & everywhere would be closed.
