This is where it started...
A long time ago, when I was 9, I was given this, my first camera.
It was from Boots the Chemist, and to this day I am intrigued by the word 'Italy' on the faceplate. Is this meant to impart some kind of continental flair on the pale white skinned user in freezing cold Scotland?
It takes 126 cassette film, and interestingly, there is actually a film in it, at frame 20 on a roll of 24. I have no idea what is on it.
On the top, is the socket for plugging in those old school flashcubes that were basically controlled explosions and the interior or the cube would distort in a sort of melted 'throw me away now' kind of way.
I have just noticed how similar it looks to those joke cameras that used to squirt water at people.
I can't part with it.
