A giant step forward

Following yesterday's graft, the moment of truth. Our neighbour, who has been following progress with much amusement, just happened to step out for a cigarette as Nick took the front of the formwork off. I don't know which of us was most shocked when the shuttering ply came off easily and the step stayed where it was!
Next blip may well come from the Orthopaedic Ward as I'm far too old for this sort of thing.
