TO WAHMBECK
we drive by car in the afternoon, to see the three mares with each her foal. We did find them all in another meadow than they were the last time. This one is better, with big trees for shadow. We take shots of them and in the grass there are so many grashoppers that jump high and far. A little bit rain and a watery sun.
We cross the Weser by the ferry on our way back with a lovely breeze.
The haiku:
Did the foal too have
Growing pains standing near her
In the wide meadow?
And the italian proverb:
A growing youth has a wolf in his belly.
