Bit of a back blip but I went to Clapham Junction last week and saw a community shattered. I grew up there and spent many happy Saturdays roaming around the shops, a stroppy teenager trailing after her mother. Anyway, after the riots people seem to be united. These words were outside Debenhams. The boards put over the windows have become shrines and I raise a glass to the people whose words cover them.
