... a bee? Nooooooooo!
... a hummingbird? Nooooooooo!
... a moth? Nooooooooooo!
Is it a hummingbird moth? Yeeeeeeeees!

Funnily enough, I was going through some of my Blips of last year this weekend, saw the 2010 version (August 29th) of this and thought: "Hmm, I have not seen any hummingbird moths this year." And this afternoon there were at least 3 all over the buddleia. Wonderful little things.
I'll probably try again; they curl their tongue up in flight and look ridiculously cute.
Well, as much as insects can look cute, that is :)
