A million souls

Every time I see a ferret, I think of Mojo. He was a 4-year-old overweight blond ferret I had when I was fresh out of high school. I had to give him away when I left to L.A. for a film program, since California didn't allow ferrets and no one I knew could/wanted to take care of him. He was a sweet, charming little fellow who loved to explore. It still pains me to this day every time I remember that I gave him away. At least his new owner was a middle-aged woman with two dogs who absolutely adored Mojo, an iguana, and a cat. I am comforted by the fact that he went to a better home with brothers and sisters who loved to play with him.

I'm pretty sure he isn't alive anymore, so rest in peace, my sweet little fellow.
