Through the Sunset
Went down to Valentino Park tonight to observe the sunset. It's a quiet, unique spot in Brooklyn, with a pier, an unobstructed view of the Statue of Liberty, a small little strip of sand that is sort of comical in its proportions, and a bit of Red Hook charm.
I snapped a few shots of the bare sunset, but well, they were a bit boring, so I looked to introduce people. A couple of kids were throwing rocks into the water and made for a nice silhouette, as did this couple. I took the most shots of the sunset behind some ornamental grasses, which I thought would end up being the shot I would use, but I guess I liked the timing of this shot more.
I posted the B-Sides to Flickr if you're interested.
