Signal Hill

We ventured up Skyline Drive to the top of Signal Hill at sunset tonight for the commanding views of the Long Beach area. While I thought I would get dramatic scenics from such a grand viewpoint, I was instead drawn to the contrast in color between the deep blue sky and the orange tinged top of the gusher sculpture in the park. It was a bonus that the clouds looked a little like steam emanating from this twenty foot sculpture.
