Kayaking and Treasure Hunting!

It is another beautiful day today! After breakfast we got ourselves ready, hooked Kaz's little yacht up to the car and put a kayak on the top for Spence and I, and headed out to Shallow Inlet. Spence and I played on the sand and in the sand dunes while Kaz started rigging her boat up but after about 15 minutes she discovered that she didn't have the little plug that goes in the bottom of the boat to stop water coming in!! So, no sailing for Kaz today!!

Spence and I continued playing while Kaz packed the boat up again and then went back to the house to get the other kayak! We finally got them into the water and paddled around for a bit. I took our waterproof camera with me and took some photos and video of Spence and Kaz together on their kayak!

We were out for about half an hour before Spence got too cold again so we came back and then went hunting for some more 'treasure' (a geocache)! We found it which was really exciting!

Spence is sleeping now, I might make some rum balls (minus the rum!!) and then we might go and visit my Pop and then my Nana!
