The Australian Tapestry Workshop

I went with Lainie to the Australian Tapestry Workshop in South Melbourne. It is one of a handful of such places in the world. The tapestries they produce are amazing. They are currently working on reproducing a giant painting called the Canning Stock Route Work by the Western Desert Artists. I haven't thought much about tapestry over the years but found it very engrossing and was astounded by the patience required for such work. The room was very peaceful.
