Cicita di Bagnaregio

This peculiar sitting little town is called Civita di Bagnaregio. It used to be the heart of the town Bagnoregio, but due to erosion of the volcanic tuff stone (from volcanic ashes) underneath the town most of it has collapsed. The two towns are now linked by 300 m long footbridge and surrounded by bizarre looking badlands.
