The Old Fashioned Way

A friend and I packed up the car (with the hamper filling the whole boot space) and headed down to Whitstable for a summer visit to Whitstable! Roughly 45minutes drive down the M2 and we arrived, squeezing Horace (my car) along the roadside at Tankerton. Heaving the hamper down the hill towards the beach, we found our own quiet spot and relazed for many hours before wandering into Whitstable town and picking up a few books, including an old yet undated edition of Homer's Iliad published by Chandos Classics.
Although occassionally overcast the day was fantastic and served is purpose in being relaxing and allowing my car to have a reasonably long run!
