Weather
We've had some extremes in the weather the last two days.
Yesterday morning was very hot, 27/28 and a bit humid. The clouds gathered at lunch time and the rain started mid afternoon. In the evening the heavens opened and the rain poured heavily for about one hour, and I am told about 45mm fell, most of it during the hour. I was out in Kerikeri when it started and driving back required care because of land slips and flooding. The water was cascading down our drive which left gouges in the metal.
This morning was beautiful, and we only had a short, light shower this afternoon and a beautiful rainbow which this shot understates.
The good news is that Gordon our builder had his first block ( 4 acres) of golden Kiwi fruit picked today after an on-off nail biting week. And the new door into the garage finally arrived and he hung it this morning. Last lap for the new study and then it will be down to me to paint.
