Scarborough Lily

A grey day, rain and sun to finish.

The Scarborough Lily has been dormant for many years, it has nearly been composted many times. It has sat about, rain and shine, in and out of the conservatory, sulkily refusing to create anything other than leaves.

Then, all of a sudden, we had flower spikes and finally flowers.

Which all goes to show how much we all need patience if we are to behold beauty.

Philosophy again? Blame Joe!
