Variation on a theme

This is a plum tartin, or at least part way through making it. We have a Canadian family coming for dinner tomorrow night and I thought it best to get ahead on the cooking. At the back is the main course, a frittata with chorizo, feta cheese and marjoram. The only things to make tomorrow are the pizzas for the children.
