Hubway

We have a new city bike rental scheme. Suddenly, lots of bike racks appeared, loaded up with wheels to go. This was swiftly followed by all sorts of wobbly people appearing all over the sidewalks. Harrumph. To be fair, Boston streets are not very cyclist friendly, and the wobbly people wouldn't do very well on the road. But before Hubway, our cyclists were very good about keeping off the sidewalks, and as a pedestrian (and sometime cyclist) I'd like it to stay that way. Bah.

In other news... we had a teeny tiny earthquake today at 2pm. The epicenter was in Virginia but we felt it in Boston. Actually, I didn't. But I did notice lots of wobbly liquids. Bit like the cyclists really.

And there's supposed to be a hurricane at the weekend!
