Alistair represents a large Management Company - and it's worth remembering that this whole Fringe enterprise is supported by a massive number of individuals. (This quite modest Fringe Venue with four performance spaces has 40 staff members working in it).

He was telling me that he has "Fringe Flu". It seems that the massive influx of performers, management staff, and visitors brings with it a cocktail of bugs. Add in to that the tiredness of working long hours, getting the dreaded lurgy is not difficult.
