Exciting event

The excitement of the day has been the arrival of the hovercraft doing trips between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis. The weather conditions were perfect for it and lots of people got a great view on the beach and on the sandbar near the river mouth. They are hoping to make it a regular event, which should help tourism in the town. Apparently it is one of the ones they use to go between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. It was larger than I was expecting and from our vantage point made a lot less noise than I thought it would.

We're getting ready for eldest grand-daughter(6) to arrive for a few days painting holiday with me from tomorrow. We'll have a couple of days painting before my other grand-daughter (5) arrives on Saturday after being on holiday with her parents. We're going to have a busy few days. They have 'ordered': cake baking, card making, painting and beach trips. We don't usually have them both at the same time, so I think I'm going to have to be more organized than usual!
