Forbidden City

<SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERA>Today, we had the afternoon off so we got to see some of Beijing. The city is massive with lots of people. We went to the Beijing Exhibition Centre, Tiannamen Square and the Forbidden City pictured here. Unfortunately, the constant smog in the atmosphere here makes it difficult to take great pictures.

I think our group was part of the tourist attraction as well as so many persons wanted to take pictures with us as I don't think they have seen persons with our complexion in real life before.

Today, however, was a struggle for me at first as I started to get sick. Thank God for ginger tea which helped a whole lot!!! I also got to see and spend the afternoon with a Chinese classmate and friend today! The world just gets smaller and smaller.
