An unusual plot

"No mobile phones, please."

Of course.

"No photography during the performance."

Fair enough, I suppose.

"And no picking the fruit either."

Eh?

Well, as the charming young lady reminded us, Allotment is performed on a working allotment. And on the way to the performance area,we did walk past some tasty-looking brambles.

The play itself is very good indeed. Funny and intense and poignant by turns, with some powerful acting.

Oh, and you get a scone and a cup of tea on your way in.
