The Tate? Not quite ...

A knock at the door this morning and Sue is looking for a 'young back' to help her lug all her art paraphernalia to the church hall at the bottom of the road.

Sue's originally from Hong Kong and is some artist but she's a bit shy of the camera.

I called in to the church hall later in the day and there they all are (the local artists that is) eating ice-cream, courtesy of Mr. Singh (See Sat 6th August blip). Hence the strange angle of Sue in her chair (She's hiding her Strawberry Cornetto from view).

It wasn't quite the Tate Gallery, Modern or Britain, but there is some talent locally with a paintbrush!

I returned to builders still shaking their heads and tutting. The damp specialist is visiting tomorrow. Oh joy!
