Fritillary on Walpurgis Night
We passed the allotment today to check if the newly sown seeds needed some water. They looked fine, so we spent most of the time there just admiring all the new growth and the spring flowers - e. g. this lovely Snake's head Fritillary, Fritillaria meleagris.
Tonight is Walpurgis night, so I suppose we should spend it watching some bonfire and listening to some local choir - but we were too busy at home, so we'll save that for another year. :-)
