What Now?
The final report from the engineers about the repair and retrieving data of the Western Digital Elements SE 500 GB external Hard Disk Drive came today after three months of rigorous attempt at bringing it to life by whatever method they have. There's nothing more they can do meaning all those images of more than 400 GB shot through the last three years will be unretrievable. The funny thing is that's the only storage device which have not been backed up in time inadvertently. I've tried three of the best services available at hand. Maybe will have to leave station again for finding a solution about it.
As I was pondering over the matter, the electricity's just gone (load shedding day) leaving me and my son Barin in the evening darkness inside the TV room. Beckoned him to open the overhead small window which let in the last lights of the setting sun. He took some shots of me just as I removed the clenched fist from under the chin and look up to the light.
