Compensation for a diversion

I'm possibly the only person in Glasgow who's fed up with the zombies currently hogging George Square.

For the last couple of weeks it's meant that my twice daily route across the square has been intermittent, if not diverted, so struggling to get to work on time, and going round the houses trying to get my train home. Or missing my usual train, more correctly.

Any hoo... today I was really glad of having to take a different route - it was a gorgeous evening, it felt lovely and fresh and dry after a real downpour, so I was in a good mood (despite knowing I was going to miss my train).

Ambling along Ingram Street, I got this shot of Hutchesons' Hall, with a true blue sky to show the white steeple off (bit of history here). I tried taking a shot of this last week one morning, but the sun was dazzling the camera too much.

So thank you Mr Pitt. All be it grudgingly!
