Book group - Room

Only just took this photo in time - the clock was ticking.

Busy day at work and then book group. Our book was Room by Emma Donoghue and it sparked a lot of discussion. It was generally regarded as a good book - quite a plaudit in our uber-critical (and diverse) group.

We also got to meet a little baby, Alfie, the grandson of one of our members. He was a bit grisly as he'd just had his second set of jabs. He's doing well though despite being a few weeks early.

It was interesting to see the gradual Kindle creep in our group - now standing at around half kindle/half paper book. I'd actually bought both as I'd picked up the paperback in the supermarket a while a go and then wickedly bought it again for my Kindle on holiday.
