Light at the end

Today has been the hardest day so far to choose just one image for my blip.

I took lots of great shots today with different lighting and shadows. For some reason I picked this one.

Finally managed to locate a multimedia store in the disguise of Fopp. So I treated myself to a couple of DVD's.

The Last Emperor (because my chinese knowledge is so bad I am bound to learn something).

The Piano (just looked really good and it was cheap)

Barry Lyndon (This was recommended to me at the begining of the week and there is supposedly a great quote right at the very end).

What did i learn today

Carrots are not historically orange. They may (or may not) have been modified that way by the dutch royals who were in favour of william of orange.

The breeding of plants or essentially everything I thought I knew about botany happened way before I thought it did. My knowledge is not in question but its place in time is a little off.
