Wacky Races

I took the kids out to Whitehouse Farm in Northumberland.

This is a superb place with spectacular views looking west over Northumberland.

There is so much to do here, as you can see, beyond a huge collection of animals.

The kids went round and round the go kart track. I sensed a bit of 'kart envy' coming from the parents and I also noticed that the seats were adjustable so jumped on one of the karts. Within about a minute every other parent was jumping on board theirs. The track was ultra smooth tarmac, good quality karts and these boys moved fast.

I now know where my kids get their competitive spirit from. Not very pc but then who cares?
