Bye, bye Wales

I spent the morning packing our bags. Today was our last day of our summer holiday in Wales. Tomorrow, we are off to Italy. Hubby drove us to Bangor station to board our train to London. At Chester, my friend Annette and her kids boarded the train and she had booked seats in the same carriage. My kids didn't know they were going to travel on the same train and were very surprised to see them walking down the carriage.
The train stopped at Crewe because of signal failure and we were advised to get off the train and board another London bound train. Of course, everyone else did the same and when we got on the train was packed. With six children, it was impossible to get a seat for us all. We arrived in Euston an hour late.
We eventually got home at 8pm and my friend's husband was waiting for us with boxes of pizza. The kids have been sent to bed early as we have a very early start tomorrow. The taxi is picking us up at 4:40am.
